Desulfurater and rebirth principle:
Fe2O3 . XH2O+3H2S==Fe2S3.XH2O+3H2O (desulfuration formula)
Fe2O3 . XH2O+CS2==Fe2S3.XH2O+3H2O (desulfuration formula)
Fe2O3 . XH2O+3/2O2==Fe2O3.XH2O+3S (rebirth formula)
Applications:
Iron oxide desulfurizer has been promoted rapidly in recent years because of its big sulfur capacity, low price, can be regenerated in normal air temperature regeneration etc. The most important is that the H2S can be desulfurization in anaerobic conditions; however, activated carbon does not desulfurization in the same condition. The water resistant strength and desulfurization precision of ferric oxide has been improved greatly after recent year’s developments, and adapt to the most industrial desulfurization engineering. It is mainly applied in high hydrogen sulfide air environment, anaerobic or low oxygen content environment, such as hydrogen sulphide removal in marsh gas, gas, water gas, coking gas.
